jsf 2 - External properties file with JSF2 -

i'd not put properties file in war file's classes directory. can , specify in faces-config.xml use correct resource-bundle ? binh nguyen

put in external folder , add path runtime classpath. can access classpath usual way if it's in /web-inf/classes (which default part of classpath).

adding path external folder classpath best configured @ webserver level. in tomcat example, can specify in shared.loader or common.loader property of tomcat's /conf/catalina.properties file.
