it seems indexhibit (www.indexhibit.org) sort of standard when comes building portfolio websites artists. received mail artist asking me whether use indexhibit. beside issues of customer poking nose technical stuff, need know what's special indexhibit?
i took @ , saw nothing more original cms. have own system/libraries use build simple websites , prefer sticking these, know first... why indexhibit have place among artists... , why "an indexhibit site" , not "a website built on indexhibit"... what's difference between indexhibit website , plain website? there advantage when using indexhibit?
that's it, got it, it's blank slate makes easy pump out small portfolio in short amount of time. it's helvetica of portfolio web design. nothing fancy, it's classic, art can breath.
