i understand differences between <canvas> , svg, , pros , cons of both. i'm creating hierarchical diagram, nodes , connections user can manipulate through event handling. clear winner svg, there's true dom can use.
however, i've heard claims <canvas> contender such application proper scene graph (dom) library. can't find consensus on go-to scene graph library <canvas> (for svg, it's raphael). can point me in right direction, or these libraries immature supersede svg complex dom manipulation?
