javascript - AJAX Form Submit v/s Standard Form Submit -

i trying implement gsa(google search appliance) in app. want use rest(json) call gsa provides. point question that, gsa needs post request in order return json response.

now when made new dummy html page form , make post request parameters successful response(json)

but, when try using $.post(...) method send post request url not getting actual response, error page.

i wanted know there difference between standard submit , ajax form submit. if yes, there workaround situation.

please help. in advance.

if want submit form through ajax in conventional way, should have @ jquery form plugin . make submit button type button , on click submit form thorugh .ajaxsubmit(). think solve problem.
