box2d - fix pivot joint corona lua -


i want build powerboat attached engine @ seen top down. therefore use pivot joint. after changing rotation of engine steering, great fix angle or change joint weld joint.

is there way this?

i don't think using pivot joint attached engine way go. engine rotates directly under player's control, not result of external forces. instead of using powerboat image physics object, should create group , insert both powerboat , engine group, , use addbody on group. can rotate engine @ , it'll move boat without being affected physics.
