iphone - Calling a public method -

i'm trying figure out how centralize method use in few of viewcontrollers. had singleton using variables. called singleton class shared.

i moved method shared class , tried calling so:

m.createdat = [shared getutcformatedate:[messageobject objectforkey:@"created_at"]]; 

it's giving me exception saying selector doesn't exist when tries call it.

i have imported shared.h. other thoughts appreciated.

if class named "shared" looks trying call class method rather instance method. so, need declare method + instead of -.
