has got experience of ajax.org's platform? looks great i'm surprised how little info there in web it. specifically, i'm interested in how compares ext.js , yui or other frameworks. i'm starting use server side javascript thoughts on o3 stuff welcome.
comparing ajax.org & ext js
i don't have experience ajax.org going through site , documentation. feel ext js 4, latest version ahead in terms of functionality , features offered. have @ number of components available ext js.
for example, take grids. ext js provides feature rich control filtering, grouping, paging , more. ajax.org seems have basic controls compared ext js.
you need @ community , how fast can help. ext js popular , easy community help. ajax.org's forum not active comparing ext js.
now, might consider ext js fail when comes licensing. ajax.org using lgpl ext js uses gplv3. @ times, becomes deciding factor when choosing frameworks.
comparing ajax.org & yui
when comparing yui , ajax.org, yui wins because of community. yui provides more functionality compared ajax.org, prefer yui. looking @ license, yui uses bsd license. bsd more permissive when compared lgpl or gpl.
ajax.org o3 feature
o3 platform interesting. ext js , yui stays purely client side , there attempt give or take server side programming. not sure how useful o3 platform is, if plan use it, community love hear experience! but, platform seems in pre-alpha. not advice using build applications go production soon.
