distribution - How to distribute ruby on rails offline applications? -

i following solution on this answer distributing rails apps seems it's not date slingshot.

i can't working. there new or way rails application distributed offline exe file , .app mac os x ?

i went down path year or 2 ago , didn't find success. couldn't ever slingshot work 2.3.x rails apps, thought deploying application on entire os system wrapped virtual .exe using xenocode (which spoon studio). ultimately, rebuilt back-end ruby stuff in javascript , deployed air app, not i'd recommend or again myself.
