if textbox of silverlight datepicker contains date , gets focus caret shown. long datepicker's textbox empty, no caret displayed. how can datepicker show caret in empty textbox when focused?
since couldn't find way asked, added animation hide watermark in focused visual state user has @ least (a little) visual feedback control got editable.
