none of ajax examples on w3schools site seems work me in firefox 3.0.19

any ideas how should fixed? i've got same problem on site...
you can start fixing avoiding w3schools altogether. when read "for ie6, ie5" in example source had shudder.
as ajax beginner easier , simpler if used jquery or other js library's ajax facilities. googling "jquery ajax tutorial" should give more enough started.
a final aside: upgrading ff 3.6 or 4 not bad idea.
