a project we've been working on weeks in flash builder has stopped being navigable: nice features of flash builder auto-completion, jump definition, search references partially working -- work classes not others. i've tried restarting flash builder, closing , opening project, re-creating project, bad situation persists. moreover, happened @ same time 2 other developers on same project, each different configuration. seems perhaps have exceeded internal limit of flashbuilder, yet our project not large yet. i'm not sure can troubleshoot this.
usually eclipse shut down , relaunch solves problem me. but, here few other things try:
- since has happened across 3 work stations, on discrete set of classes, have looked weird, or non-standard syntax bug? i'm sure have seen situations not cause compiler error, cause code hinting break. i'd things single quotes inside of double quotes or asdocs aren't terminated. [it seem wildly inconsistent, though, bit of stab in dark].
- try cleaning work space. when launch flash builder (or eclipse) use '-clean' argument. in windows shortcut; i'm not sure how on mac
- try re-creating component in question. copy code on in chunks until find out breaks code hinting.
